
Police arrested one presumed dealer by order of the prosecutor’s office. The man had to face an examining magistrate on Monday morning. Complaints were also filed against three other people for possession of minor amounts of hashish. Officers seized the illegal substances, as well as mobile phones.
Police further report that a man was mugged on Avenue Monterey around 5.30 p.m. while sitting on a bench. He was approached by two people as he was working on his laptop, and they managed to steal his phone without him noticing.
The victim later described one of the muggers as being of North African descent, speaking French, and having black hair. He is likely between the age of 25 and 30, and about 175 centimetres tall. He wore sports clothes and a red and white jacket at the time of the mugging.
