Both lanes were blocked on the A1 motorway following an accident which saw a vehicle flip over and land on its roof, between the Findel bridge and the Munsbach exit (direction Trier)
The ACL (Luxembourg Automobile Club) indicated that both lanes are shut, which has resulted in long tailbacks. At 4pm, there were still four kilometres of tailbacks.
The accident has been cleared and traffic has since regained.
According to our sources, rescue services have taken one injured person to the hospital. There is no further information concerning the gravity of the injuries.
