The installation of the tram in Luxembourg's capital has been a success, despite the ongoing construction works towards the city's main train station. The construction site has not been without its controversies, particularly in terms of the businesses affected by the closure of Avenue de la Liberté.
Luxtram's director André Von der Marck told the Tageblatt that nine businesses based in the Gare district had lodged requests for compensation to date. A decision is set to be made on four of the cases in the near future.
