During the routine check, officers issued twelve fines and 45 warnings. They also found technical car issues in eight cases.
27 cars lacked a valid technical control certificate, which is punishable with a €145 fine and two points taken off the driving license. In 16 cases, motorists had failed to pay their taxes, which cost them €74.
Officers also found cases where drivers lacked insurance or were more than 60 days behind their tax payment deadline. One of the vehicles was seized by order of the prosecutor’s office.
