On Saturday night, a motorist driving a white Mercedes crashed into a road sign on the N26 near the roundabout between Wiltz and Schumannseck. Since the driver fled the scene afterwards, people who witnessed the accident should contact the Wiltz police department via phone (+352244891000) or email (police.ardennes@police.etat.lu).
Around 2.10pm, police were alerted to an accident on Rue de Belvaux in Esch-sur-Alzette. A motorist had crashed his vehicle into two stationary vehicles and suffered injuries in the process. Since the man tested positive for alcohol, his license was revoked at the scene.
Shortly before midnight, police were alerted to a reckless driver in Grevenmacher. Officers were able to stop the man soon after subject him to an alcohol test, which came back positive. They revoked the driving license as a result.
