18% of the country's population have been vaccinated thus far, which means that the virus can still circulate with relative ease, the minister emphasised. This may put people at risk who are not yet vaccinated, as well as those who gained a less significant level of protection from the jab.
Out of precaution, quarantine procedures will only be adapted once a majority of the country has been vaccinated, Minister Lenert further emphasised.
