A police patrol was dispatched and was able to successfully take the suspect into custody. Upon searching the man's vehicle, police officers found a blank pistol.
The man was taken to the police station for a police report to be filed and the weapon was confiscated.
The police also stopped motorists for on-the-spot alcohol tests on Tuesday night in key areas in Luxembourg City, namely Route de Longwy, Route de Thionville, and Avenue de la Liberté.
170 motorists were stopped, with seven testing positive for alcohol. Two licenses were withdrawn.
