A reader sent a photo of the parking infraction, taken in Lidl car park in Bertrange, to our colleagues at 5Minutes.
The car comfortably taking up two spaces is surprisingly not a large SUV as one might expect - instead, a small Citroën is parked across the dividing line between the spaces.
As a reminder which no one should need, and yet apparently some still do, the marks on the ground aren't just for decoration. Parking within the lines gives everyone a chance to find a space.
It is also vital to follow parking regulations, as the police demonstrated earlier this month when they discovered no fewer than 500 parking infractions over a period of two days.
