The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon at around 5.00pm, close to the Ehlerange tunnel in the direction of Pétange.
The driver of an orange car attempted to overtake two lorries transporting logs, but in the process, was struck by a red car which zigzagged between the two lorries. The red car driver failed to stop at the site of the crash.
