Two people were in the car when the driver lost control during a turn. The vehicle came off the road and went up a hill, before being flipped on its roof. While the driver only suffered light injuries, the front-seat passenger suffered severe injuries and had to be freed from of the car.
The road between Kockelscheier and Bettembourg had to be closed off for traffic to allow authorities to secure any evidence at the scene.
