
The 27th UN conference on climate kicked off on Saturday. PM Bettel will be on location on Monday and Tuesday to consult with some of the world’s high-level leaders. A notable absentee is Chinese President Xi Jinping.
A plenary meeting is scheduled to take place on Monday, followed by several thematic sessions and meetings over the following days.
Minister for the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development Joëlle Welfring will also travel to Sharm el-Sheikh to partake in the closure of the conference.
