It was enough to secure 2nd place for Bertemes, narrowly beaten by Nigerian Chukwuebuka Enekwechi. Marcus Thomsen of Norway took the third spot on the podium with a distance of 20,46 metres.
Vera Hoffmann just missed out on a podium place in the 1500m race. The Luxembourger held her own against international competition, coming in fourth place with a time of 4:16.31. The victor was Georgia Griffith of Australia, joined on the podium by Poland’s Martyna Galant and Spain’s Lidia Campo.
