That is at least the hope of Luc Holtz, the manager of the Luxembourg national team. He expressed concerns over the fact that the situation regarding Covid-19 might once again be used to delay the first game in the new stadium. This had already been the case a few months ago, when Holtz visited the stadium himself and was confident that a game could take place on the new pitch.
Over the past years, the date of the inaugural game in Luxembourg’s stadium had been postponed numerous times.
