The game on Sunday, which ended 10-20 in favour of Oundenaarde, was a hard fought game for the Walferdange side. Described as a physically tough match, the Walfettes persevered and did not allow their opponents to win easily.
Despite the small defeat, the team feels it has learnt from the match and will be even more prepared for the next game. The next match is an away game against RC Hamme on 28 September.
The match was the first game for two players, Cindy and Andrea. The Super Walfette of the match was Leonie.
Additionally, Walfer Rugby Club participated in the Open Days weekend and was, naturally, streaming the Rugby World Club for visitors to watch.
