Vera Hoffmann set a new record in Regensburg, Germany this weekend, running the fastest 3000m for her country to date.
Hoffmann finished the race in 9 minutes, 12 seconds and 27 milliseconds, beating Danièle Kaber’s 1986 record by only 60 milliseconds. She took fourth place.
