During the month of September 2019, ADEM registered 3,112 new resident jobseekers, an increase of 25%, and 605 registrations of non-resident jobseekers were made, an increase of 124.1% since September last year.
The number of people in an employment measure was 4,164 as at 30 September 2019, 2% less - 81 people - than 12 years previously.
Employers also declared a total of 3,407 job vacancies to ADEM, 173 or 5.3% more than last year.
The areas that are seeking out applicants are in IT, accounting and stonemasonry, secretarial jobs and work in the catering industry.
