After eight years, Anne-Catherine Ries is stepping down from her post as director of the Department of Media, Connectivity and Digital Policy, the Ministry of State announced on Wednesday. Ries, who has been director of the department up to now, is moving to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she will take on new responsibilities.
Anne Calteux, currently the Head of the Representation of the European Commission in Luxembourg, will succeed Ries with effect from 1 December 2026.
