Just ten people applied for international protection in Luxembourg in April, in a drop of more than 100 requests compared to the preceding month. The Department of Immigration published the figures, showing up until 30 April, the majority of asylum seekers originated from Syria.
Following 79 Syrians in first place, Eritreans occupied second place with 59 requests, followed by Venezuela at 37.
