At around 1am, officers investigated a vehicle at a service station on the A4. A search yielded a joint, 11 grams of cannabis and 108 grams of hashish in the car. One of the car’s occupants was arrested by order of the public prosecutor, while the other two occupants received a fine. The car was seized as part of the investigation.
In Differdange, police staged a larger operation near Parc Gerlache at around 4pm. Officers searched a group of people on rue Adolphe Krieps and confiscated a small amount of hashish as well as a kitchen knife. One member of the group was arrested after they drunkenly threatened the officers.
Another person was taken into custody after it was discovered they had broken the law in another country and was on a police watchlist.
