This law, which will strictly refer to the Covid-19 pandemic, is to be divided into two texts, one for private individuals and the other for businesses. Prime Minister Xavier Bettel will present the texts on Tuesday afternoon in the form of draft bills to the members of the Bureau of the Chamber and of the Conference of Presidents.
Both the presidents of the OGBL, LCGB and CGFP unions and representatives of the parliamentary opposition expressed theirconfidence in these two texts last week.
The Prime Minister has repeatedly stated his goal is to obtain the broadest possible national consensus with these two laws.
On Tuesday afternoon, MPs will meet for a plenary session from 2.30pm onwards. This will be the only session planned for this week.
Three items will be on the agenda, including a bill for compensation in the event of a nuclear accident, as well as a resolution tabled by Pirate Party MP, Sven Clement, relating to the publication of a special crisis exit report.
