They started their journey on Sunday evening from Kuebebierg in the direction of the local retention basin. On Monday morning, the sheep crossed the residential quarter Grünewald to arrive at the Klosegrënnchen park, where they will stay until 6 May.
Naturally, the flock was accompanied and guided by a professional shepherd. Twice per year, the sheep are relocated to a different grassland in Kirchberg, which then benefits from their presence and continuous grazing.
The procession of the flock is considered to be important in terms of biodiversity and cultural heritage.
