According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), a motorcycle and a bus collided at around 1.25pm in Heffingen on Um Haff. One person was injured in the crash and was taken away by ambulance. Firefighters from Heffingen were also called out.
Wiltz and Winseler rescue services were also called out at 1.30pm when a car crashed into a wall on Bastnicherstrooss in Pommerloch. One person was injured here as well.
In Rollingen (Lamadelaine) on Rue de la Montagne, a vegetation fire broke out about 15 minutes later, leaving one person injured. Firefighters from Pétange and ambulances from the Sanem-Differdange centre attended the scene.
In Flatzbour on Route de Perlé, a car and a motorbike collided. One person was injured here too and was treated by rescue crews from Rambrouch.
On the A1 heading towards Luxembourg City at Grünewald-Kirchberg, a lorry caught fire. No one was hurt. Firefighters from Niederanven, Junglinster and Luxembourg City were on duty putting out the blaze.
