From 1997 to 2006, Knudson was the acting manager of marketing at SES. Shen then became city manager of the Luxembourgish capital, holding the position for six years. She is currently in charge of the tourism agency in Munich, having lead a team of eighty employees since 2013. Knudson speaks five languages and studied theatre, art history, and sociology in Berlin.
The publisher communicated that current CEO Richard Karacian had decided to return to his family in Paris by July. The transition period until September will be managed by Maison Moderne founder and former CEO Mike Koedinger. He will stay president of the board, working alongside Marie-Jeanne Chèvremont, Pascale Kauffman, and Daniel Schneider.
