The municipality of Helperknapp has condemned a series of vandalism incidents recently reported in Buschdorf, where a bus shelter window was damaged, a window at the A Kanech municipal building was shattered, and damage was caused to the council noticeboard. All incidents have been reported to the police in Mersch.
The municipality urges residents to promptly report any additional cases of vandalism to the relevant authorities to help ensure all incidents are properly investigated.
Helperknapp officials are now appealing for witnesses and asking anyone with relevant information to contact the commune at 28 80 40-1 or the Mersch police station at 24 49 01 000.
