Officers arriving on the scene discovered a number of people embroiled in a fight, using fists and feet. Several of the brawlers fled upon spotting the police.
The police were able to separate the aggressors and calm the situation down. One person suffered minor injuries, while another was taken into custody in order to sober up.
Several police patrols remained on site as reinforcement.
