Henri Kox, the responsible Minister, said that the aim was to create more transparency around projects that are funded by the government. This was after the Chamber of Deputies Housing Commission session, which considered the legislative text around the special fund.
A yearly review of all the developments and decisions made should help guarantee this, providing deputies with the opportunity to see for themselves how the different projects were proceeding.
Minister Kox stressed on Thursday morning that transparency was a priority. Now that the financial support was there, they needed to make sure the rest of the legal texts surrounding it reflected this.
All the necessary laws would steadily be updated so as to include all the important actors necessary to create affordable housing.
