Police patrols were ordered to stop drivers and test them for alcohol on Tuesday evening between 8 pm and 10.30 pm. Officers stopped 314 drivers in Mersch and Brouch, finding that only three were driving under the influence. These three drivers were fined, but their BAC levels were not so high as to require seizing their licenses.
