Gardens, green zones, rubbish bins, agricultural machines... several fires put the national emergency services on high alert last night. Five operations were conducted in Luxembourg City, Pétange, Esch-sur-Alzette, and on the CR308 near Grevels.
Two fires occurred in the capital, one in a garden and one in a rubbish bin. Both incidents remained hazard-free. In Pétange, a fire on the ground floor of a building broke out, but the local fire brigade was able to extinguish the flames before anyone was hurt. Similarly, nobody suffered any injuries in a fire that broke out in a garden in Esch-sur-Alzette.
One person was however injured when an agricultural machine caught fire on the CR308 between Grevels and Hierheck.
