Unknown individuals deliberately placed objects on the train tracks about 700 metres from the Clervaux Railway Station on Monday evening. The incident took place between 7.15 and 8.15pm. Despite the fact that a train did run over the objects, the worst could be avoided, according to the police. No one was injured.
Various construction materials were stolen from a nearby construction site, according to preliminary investigations. The report also mentions material damage. The public prosecutor’s office ordered the launch of an official investigation.
