An altercation took place between two prison inmates in the showers at around 4.35pm on Sunday. One of the two men involved sustained facial injuries and was subsequently hospitalised.
Initial reports suggest the argument began when one of the inmates refused to leave the showers. The situation deteriorated and became physical, until one of the men fell to the ground and injured his face.
The victim was treated at the scene by the emergency services, before he was taken to hospital for further care. A verbal warning was issued on-site.
