The good news is that the construction work will not start until Saturday evening. This means that motorists will be able to drive through the area all day Saturday. However, from 10 pm onwards, a large part of Quartier de la Gare will be closed off until 4 am on Monday.
The area concerned is located between the Place de la Gare and the Buchler Bridge. The access via rue Joseph Junck will be closed and the same will apply to the "East" entrance of the southern ring road. These closures will have a considerable impact on traffic.
Bus routes 4, 7, 10, 13, 14, 18, 20, 23, 28, 29, 175, 205, 210, 319, L40, L95, and WAK will be affected. Full details of the diversions and mobility changes can be found here.
