The driver attempted to move past a traffic jam at a red light and ended up crashing into another vehicle. He got out of his car at the car park near the train station and took off on foot.
Police officers were able to locate the man shortly later. An alcohol blood test came back positive and the driver also failed to present valid car documents.
Police seized the car and informed the public prosecutor's office.
