The motorcyclist lost control over his vehicle between Wecker and Schorenshof at around 6pm. As a result of the crash, he fell and was hurled against the tyre of a tractor, which was parked on the side of the road.
The 56-year-old motorcyclist from Luxembourg succumbed to his injuries the following day.
The police are now looking for witnesses to determine the circumstances that led to the accident. In particular, the police are looking for the two motorists that were driving behind the motorcyclist just before the accident occurred.
