The suspect was caught red-handed as he had offered drugs to plainclothes officers.
Upon being restrained, the man fought back hard and tried to break free by punching and kicking. At one point, the man grabbed a glass bottle from the ground, broke it, and tried to injure an officer by hitting him in the face. The assault was repelled by the officer, but he suffered a cut on his hand that required medical attention at the hospital.
The suspect eventually dropped the broken glass bottle after being handcuffed. A package containing four drug pellets was seized.
On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the man was arrested and presented to an examining magistrate on Friday.
