A section speed camera on the N15 between Niederfeulen and Fuussekaul will enter its test phase on 30 March. No fines will be issued during this period.

Earlier this week, RTL reported that the test phase for the section speed camera on this stretch of road would begin soon. On Friday, the Ministry of Mobility confirmed that the test phase will start on Monday, 30 March.

The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h. A tolerance of 3 km/h will be applied for speeds under 100 km/h, while a tolerance of 3% will be applied for speeds exceeding 100 km/h.

The ministry noted that no fines will be issued during the test phase, and all photographs and collected data will be immediately deleted.

Authorities will announce at a later date when the speed camera will become operational. In an interview with RTL Radio on Friday morning, Roland Fox, director of the National Roads Authority, stated that this is expected to occur before the Pentecost holidays.
