Police in Echternach were called to a suspected knife attack on Route de Luxembourg at around 5am on Saturday. On arrival, officers found one injured person who was bleeding and in need of treatment.
Two other injured individuals were located shortly afterwards. According to initial findings, the three had come to blows following a row that started in the car park next to a shopping centre. A disagreement then spilled over into a physical fight.
Officers established that all those involved were heavily intoxicated. It is not yet clear how the injuries were sustained. Blood-stained shards of glass were seized as evidence at the scene.
