RTL Today
The emergency services were kept particularly busy on the A3, A1, and A4 on Thursday evening, as eight cars crashed and three people had to be taken to the ER.

At around 5.15 pm, a large traffic jam formed on the A3: a motorcyclist was hit by a car between the Livange exit and Croix de Bettembourg and had to be treated by the emergency services from Luxembourg City, Bettembourg, and Roeserbann.

A couple hours later, at around 7.30pm, three cars collided on the A4 between the Leudelange-Sud slip road and the Pontpierre service station. One victim was taken to the ER by the emergency services from Bettembourg, Leudelange, Mondercange, and Luxembourg City.

A similar incident occurred just after 10.15pm when, for an unknown reason, four cars collided on the A1 between the Kirchberg slip road and the Cents tunnel. The Luxembourg City fire brigade was despatched to rescue one person.
