On Thursday evening, a tramway caught fire inside the maintenance facility in Kirchberg. The fire brigade from Luxembourg City was able to extinguish the fire quickly and no one was injured.
A pile of rubbish caught fire on the CR333 near Hachiville. The emergency services from Wincrange were on site, but no one was injured.
Two accidents on Thursday evening left two people injured. The first occurred in Sanem at around 5.30pm when a cyclist and a car crashed into each other. The emergency services from Esch-sur-Alzette and Sanem-Differdange were on site.
The second accident occurred in Niederfeulen, shortly after 8pm. A collision between a motorcycle and a car left one person injured. The Nordstad and Feulen emergency services were on site.
