A group of shoplifters targeted a shopping centre in Trier on Wednesday, stealing merchandise and fleeing in a Luxembourg-registered vehicle.

The incident took place around 5.40pm. Trier police alerted their Luxembourg counterparts, who were able to stop the car and its three occupants in Munsbach. The stolen items - bottles of perfume - were located in the vehicle and confiscated.
