Shortly before 5pm on Saturday, police were alerted to a driver who had fallen asleep at the wheel in Käerjeng before driving off. Officers later located the man in a car park, where the vehicle was found with two damaged rims and flat tyres. A breathalyser test was positive and his licence was revoked. An investigation into how the damage occurred is ongoing.

Shortly after 9pm, a second incident was reported near Schlassgoart, where a driver had crashed into a barrier. According to the caller, the man attempted to drive away. When officers arrived, they found him asleep inside the vehicle. After being woken, he tried to continue driving through the barrier, prompting officers to switch off the engine and apply the handbrake. He then attempted to restart the vehicle and had to be physically restrained. He refused a breathalyser test and his licence was provisionally revoked. Due to his condition, he was taken to hospital.

A few hours later, a third incident occurred in Esch-sur-Alzette, where an intoxicated driver collided with a parked car. He attempted to flee the scene but was stopped by a witness. A breathalyser test confirmed he was under the influence and his licence was revoked.
