Civic engagementTwo new public petitions online

RTL Today
If a minimum of 4,500 people sign either of the two new public petitions, MPs will have to discuss it in the Chamber of Deputies.

One petition demands that the notary’s office be reformed, as the country only has 36 certified notaries for an ever-growing population.

The second petition argues that penalties for drink driving and mobile phone use behind the wheel should be increased.

All petitions can be found and signed on the Chamber’s official petition website.
