Police and emergency services responded to a workplace accident on rue de la Station in Dommeldange.
According to initial reports, a worker was struck in the head by a metal object, part of a drill used for deep drilling, and sustained serious injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Authorities said his condition was critical at the time of the incident.
The Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (ITM) was notified and attended the scene. A report was filed on the orders of the public prosecutor’s office.
