
According to eye-witnesses, the young boy cycled over the crossing without braking, in turn causing a motorist to crash into him. The impact threw him against the window of the car, injuring the young cyclist.
Emergency services took him to hospital. First responders from Luxembourg City, a Mertert ambulance, and Biwer and Grevenmacher-Mertert firefighters were at the scene.
