If you’ve seen them before, you’ll know what to expect. If you haven’t, this is a band that leans heavily on rhythm and repetition, built around drums, loops, and momentum. It’s loud, physical, and very much designed for a live setting.
Their new album An Order Of Things is out on April 17. It’s their seventh record, and this time they expand beyond the original duo, adding a second drum kit and bringing a third member into the mix. The result is more direct and more intense, without changing the core of what they do.
The record was written in Mons and recorded in Normandy, across nine tracks that stick closely to that driving, locked-in sound they’ve developed over the past decade.
They’ve played more than 700 shows at this point, and that experience shows. This isn’t a band experimenting on stage, it’s a band that knows exactly what it’s doing and pushes it as far as it can go.
