FGFC and ASAM are not amused, to say the least, by the fact that every fifth taxed warning remains unpaid, which amounts to a total of 14 million euros.
They suggest introducing a fine of double the initial amount if it is not paid within 45 days. Municipal agents should also have the possibility of immobilising vehicles when necessary, or to order for cars to be towed in cases of systematic abuse.
