One hospitalised58 people treated by emergency services at Francofolies in Esch

The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) provided medical assistance to 58 festivalgoers during the Francofolies music festival in Esch-sur-Alzette on Saturday, with one person transported to the hospital.

Emergency services from the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) were called to assist a total of 58 people during the Francofolies music festival in Esch on Saturday. According to the national emergency service, most of those treated received care on site, while one individual required ambulance transport to the hospital.

During the course of Saturday evening, there was a temporary increase in the number of festivalgoers in need of assistance. As a result, emergency response operations were scaled up, and additional ambulances were dispatched to the festival site. However, officials report that the situation quickly returned to normal.

Francofolies is among the largest music events in Luxembourg, attracting thousands of visitors to Esch annually.
