
In Diekirch three cars rear-ended each other, and as it turned out, one of the drivers had drunk too much. He was provisionally banned from driving.

In Soleuvre, another driver who was under the influence ended up in the wrong lane, nearly caused an accident with a patrol vehicle. They caught up with him at his home, just as he was parking. A five-year-old child was also in the car.
In Luxembourg-City, one woman hit a wall and then a crowd barrier, damaging three cars in the process. She had had too much to drink before getting behind the wheel, and consequentially received a driving ban.
Finally around 5am, police were informed of a car that had ended up in a ditch between Schlammestee and Weiler-La-Tour. The driver was not injured, but definitely inebriated.
