
The first accident occurred at Raemerich roundabout near Esch Belval at 10.45 pm on Thursday night. A car entering the roundabout had crashed into the back of a second vehicle at full speed. Three people inside the second car suffered injuries and were brought to the hospital.
Police found that the driver of the first car had been drinking before getting behind the wheel. Police did not suspend the woman's driver's licence because her blood alcohol levels did not exceed 1.2 per mille. The front-seat passenger, who was also intoxicated, started to insult the police officers. They lodged a complained against him.
Around 8.30 pm, a driver crashed into a vehicle that was coming out of a driveway on Rue de Commerce in Dudelange. The driver took off without taking care of the damage he caused.
When police arrived at the scene, they found that the driver who had left the driveway was intoxicated. They withdrew his driver's licence. An investigation regarding the hit-and-run driver was launched.
Another accident occurred around 5.36 am this Friday morning. Three vehicles were involved in the crash and one person was injured.
