Gorgonzola AOP by AMBROSI has been recalled for potential listeria contamination, according to an orange alert notice issued by ALVA on Friday.

AMBROSI branded gorgonzola cheese has been recalled by Luxembourg’s food safety authority due to the potential presence of listeria monocytogenes bacteria. ALVA, the Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration, issued an orange alert on Friday, which will remain in place until 27 March.

The affected batch numbers are L51600900 and L51601906, with use by dates of 20 March and 30 March.
