Police have arrested a suspect following a burglary at a shop on Grand-Rue in Ettelbruck on Monday night, authorities reported.
According to preliminary information, an individual had attempted to steal the till. Police immediately launched a search.
During the operation, another attempted burglary was reported in Colmar-Berg. The suspects reportedly fled on bicycles but were stopped shortly afterwards by a police patrol near Bissen.
Further investigations revealed that one of the suspects was also linked to the break-in in Ettelbruck. That individual was arrested.
